NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT 3 SPEAKERS!

WHAT A WAY TO START THE MEETINGS AFTER A LONG SUMMER!

Ever wonder what living in the MIddle East is really like?  Vivien Whitley-Reign will speak to us on this subject.

And, are you concerned about how The Muslim refugee population is affecting our neighboring community of Greeley and if/when it will be in our area?  Pastor Steven Grant is returning to give us an update.

Lastly, Gary Cooper will be discussing the petition to increase Boulder County Commissioners from three to five so we can have more of a voice in what the county is doing.

 Vivien Whitely ReignVivien Whitley-Reign

I grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  My father was Director/Chief Pilot for Saudia Airlines Special Flight Services. Prior to Saudi, our family lived in Libya.  Arabic Studies was a part of our school curriculum.  I will share some of my life experiences in the Middle East.  I maintain several friendships with Muslims from my childhood and have missionary friends that live amongst the natives in various Muslim nations.  I am happily married to my husband, Joshua, of 22 years and we enjoy our beloved 20-year old son, Leo. We relocated to Colorado, from Texas, almost 10 years ago.

I am in no way to be considered an expert, or professional speaker, but simply an individual who has lived among and befriended Muslims over the decades. I can offer a different perspective as I am a proud conservative Christian American patriot that has some personal insight into Islam and the Muslim culture since living in the Middle East for roughly 16 years.

Pastor Grant

Pastor Steven Grant

Steven Grant lives an unexpected life that flows in and out of several different areas of interest. He has planted churches, written books, played and recorded music, and run his own business. Today he brings that mix of experience, combined with passion and joy, to us.

Steven pastors Destiny Christian Center in Greeley, Colorado. He has also authored two books himself; “America in the Bible,” and, “Israel – the Seventh Sign.” His latest book, co-authored with his brother Stan Grant, is titled “Rules for Rebuilders.” It is a counter-attack against Saul Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals” using tried and true nation-building principles that work every single time.

Steven has been a minister for more than 40 years. He has planted three churches; two in Indiana and one in Colorado, and has also consulted with other church planters as they work to establish Christian ministries. Steven has also operated his own business, and prior to that worked in telecommunications for many years.

 Gary Cooper

Gary Cooper

Gary Cooper is a devoted husband and father.  He and his wife Gigi love to brag about their six children and eight grandchildren.  To this day, he remains an avid soccer player and occasional youth coach.

Gary is a Colorado native, and has always lived here in the front range area.  After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder, he turned his eye toward entrepreneurship.  Using his business acumen, Gary has created jobs and built companies into successes, including growing a 2-agent real estate franchise into the 25th largest brokerage in Colorado.

Even with family and business keeping him busy, Gary has always held a strong dedication to community service.  As an active Rotarian, he has helped high school seniors continue their education by awarding thousands in scholarship dollars each year. He feels especially blessed to provide children with free monthly books, as the local club’s chief fundraiser and administrator for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program.  Gary has seen the lives of kids, from all backgrounds and socioeconomic status, change through the power of reading.
