Lesley's Bio

Lesley Hollywood is a Colorado based citizen activist and founder of gun rights advocacy organization, Rally For Our Rights. She has been a leading voice in the Colorado gun rights community, has fought encroaching gun control at both the state and municipal level in various cities across Colorado, and helped steer the state's Second Amendment Sanctuary movement. Lesley believes there is broad agreement on the problems surrounding firearms and violence, but the disagreements lie in the solutions.

Lesley understands politics and politicians are not out of reach of the average citizen, and it is only the political power structure that prefers we believe otherwise. In this vein, she works to develop a framework to help frustrated citizens become activists themselves and learn to fight for causes they believe in. She is most passionate about issues and policy based activism as she considers it to be "post-partisan", encouraging individuals to put their partisan politics aside and rally together around a cause.

Lesley has been making waves in grassroots politics since 2009, utilizing existing networks and developing new ones to effectively engage and energize those who strive to be more compelling political activists. She is an entrepreneur and single mother of three daughters who believes deeply in the right to self defense.
